Collective Shelters for displaced people in Lebanon

The collaborative shelter emergency response aims to assess and cater for the urgent needs of the affected population, fostering resilience and promoting a sense of security and safety within the school environment

Goals

As many have lost their homes and all their belongings, the guidelines aim to provide safe and dignified shelters urgently to offer the Internally Displaced Population a first step toward stability and support

Required Funds

Needs assessment of collective shelters 

Required Fund $20,000

- Train volunteers to implement the   guidelines 
- Support them in conducting needs   assessment 
- Provide recommendations for school   management 
- Share low-cost and low-tech solutions

- Procure materials to improve spaces  
- Allocate decent spaces for sleeping and living 
- Organize communal areas for cooking and eating  
- Provide spaces for children to study and play
